Pink Hill Math Trail
About The Math Trail
The Pink Hill Math Trail was developed by Tammy Baysden and the use of this math trail is intended for students in grades K-6. Pink Hill is located in the southern most part of Lenoir County and borders Duplin County. It is a small quaint farming town, with a limited amount of industry.
While on our walk up the main street of this small quiet town we will enjoy the beauty it beholds. Pink Hill is the home of the Rose Festival held on May 17th this year. Throughout our walk we will learn some history of this town, as well as some interesting information. We will also discover various mathematical aspects of the town.
Math is everywhere, even in a small rural town.
